Star2Star Communications, maker of “The World’s Most Reliable Internet Phone Solution,” announced today that the company has acquired the BridgeWorks Customer Communication Management (CCM) software from BridgeFive Solutions.
BridgeFive President Randy Richardson has also joined Star2Star Communications as Chief Product Officer, where he is now responsible for setting direction and managing development of Star2Star products.
Before founding BridgeFive, Mr. Richardson held CIO positions at several national retail chains, including Best Buy, Talbots, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Ann Taylor, where he developed and implemented technology solutions for national and global retail, call center, and Internet operations.
“Offering a CCM solution to Star2Star customers will provide them with business tools that have traditionally only been available to large organizations and call centers. I am thrilled to join the Star2Star team and help to develop many new and exciting products for our customers,” said Mr. Richardson.
BridgeWorks brings big-business communications management to smaller companies by integrating the company’s customer database with their telephone system. This powerful combination allows businesses to leverage their customer contact data to provide better, faster, more professional service to customers.
BridgeWorks provides functionality for both inbound and outbound calls, and displays “screen pops” which contain information about the customer, including details on previous calls or orders. Included management tools let call management monitor overall and individual employee performance.
